gone to the dogsStrengths: many good features such as blue toothe and where am I. Weakness: voice tells you to turn in the middle of the turn half the time, tells you to turn then recalculates after the turn, the voice becomes garbeled and you have to shut down and turn back on to fix it. All in all the unit is good as far as features but garmins quality control has gone to the dogs. Got me lost many times on a 4000 miles trip but it will eventually get you to your destination. Also froze up on me several times. would not recommend this unit to any one until they fix the kinks.

LOVE IT!!Strengths: Vocal directions great - can keep eyes on the road; bluetooth excellent; never gave wrong directions; great maps and display. Survives the FL sun! Weakness: Have mounted near radio and suction cup releases once in a while. Don't like on dash - theft, vision and heat. Traffic warning is a little slow. Have had my unit for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier with! Even the small backroads are on map so nav is easy. Gets me where I'm going and back again - absolutely no major complaints. Will replace with same if it ever dies. Traffic is a bit slow to warn but still works and allows you time to slow down when approaching. great productStrengths: I find this product to be EXTREMELY HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY since I have a terrible sense of direction. Weakness: I haven't experienced any problems with this. I rec'd this as a gift after traveling in the opposite direction and traveling approximately 200 miles out of my way. My son (who was stuck in the back of my seven passenger van) kept telling me I was going the wrong way. So since I didn't listen to him, he bought me this product for christmas and told me I had no excuses anymore..........p.s. My granddaughter (age 6) loves it also

Love it - but nothing is perfectStrengths: Very simple to use, lots of POIs, can add anything directly from google Weakness: Traffic did not work in my area without a fee (there are 2 traffic providers, so look at this feature if it is important to you...), speakerphone is not that great This is the best GPS I have used. In some ways I like the built-in vehicle GPSs since you dont need to shuffle this thing back and forth to your car and plug it in (due to theft possibility), but it is nice to be able to program your destinations on your couch before you go out. Despite shortcomings, Nuve 265wt is highly recommended.

nuvi 265WTStrengths: NAVTEQ Traffic Easy GUI Weakness: Speaker is crap Hands free calling has been legislated and it is important that the Bluetooth capability be functional. The speaker distorts voices so badly they are hard to understand. No complaints on the other end of the line so the microphone must be OK. Garmin 265WT GPSStrengths: Size (Shape) pictures, Where AM I, Waypoints Weakness: Battery Life 2 hours stinks The speaker is awful. Very poor quality. Sounds very tinny. Speaker is so bad that it makes the blue tooth almost not useable. Overall - It is a good buy. The shape is especially nice. It will fit in your shirt pocket. The Where to is an excellent feature as is the Waypoint feature.

Don't buy if you're looking to add more mapsStrengths: Works OK for N.America Weakness: Takes hours to add maps for other continents Bought this unit for N.America and Europe travel. Works OK in N. America. Bought the Euro maps ($99 more) but can't load them onto the unit. Follow the instructions but nothing happens. Dialog says it's successful but there are no Euro maps on my Garmin. Tech support useless.... ask a bunch of questions but no solution. Wasted my $99. Maybe TOMTOM is better.

I purchased this GPS unit a few weeks ago and it operates pretty well. The unit is fast and picks up traffic quick that's on route. I really don't have any problems with it other than sometimes the search time over broad POI takes some time. If you need a good GPS that has free Traffic that you don't have to pay for, then this is your unit.
