Canon PowerShot A1100 IS
Strengths: Easy to use
Weakness: Battery life stinks.
I love the picture quality, but I don't know if I'll keep this camera or not. I wish I could return it but I can't. It seems to eat batteries. I first used Kodak digital batteries and thought that may be the problem. I changed to energizers and still didn't get much use from them. I usually get 10-15 pictures on each set of batteries. That gets expensive. It'll show "low battery" and shut off....

An extremely good buy
Strengths: Very clear pictures (also on the LCD screen after I remembered to take off the protective plastic sheet). Highly versatile because of its internal adjustments for each shot.
Weakness: Some buttons are too small for my large fingers and their labellings are nearly impossible to read.
I am more than happy with the high quality/price ratio. This is far and away the best of the modestly-priced digital cameras I have owned.

Great camera @great price
Strengths: Great quality, User friendly
Weakness: None till date
The best camera than expected in taking pics with real color and good quality. I love the sharpness of the pic. I have taken many pics of my family and friends and got many compliments on the sharpness and very true color pics. Thanks to PriceGrabber for providing best deal!

Canon PowerShot A1100 IS (gray)
THE GOOD: Viewfinder; simple operation; inexpensive; excellent photo quality for the money. THE BAD: Mixed performance; short battery life. THE BOTTOM LINE: Aside from a couple performance quibbles, the Canon PowerShot A1100 IS provides a good point-and-shoot experience with great pictures as a result.
