Solid camera

Strengths: Nikon quality. Good lens and low light photos.

Weakness: Flash has limited focal length in dark light situations.

Very good camera for the money. Optics are superior to other brands I have used in the past. I have used Nikon cameras in the past and this one does not disappoint.

No problems with my new L20

Strengths: good feel, huge display, great price

Weakness: a lot of features that can be confusing to master

For under $100, I think this is a great deal. Nikon makes a great product and is a very solid brand. Read one review that was pretty negative, perhaps they got a bum unit.

My First Digital

Strengths: Large screen, slightly bigger, higher resolution

Weakness: hard to learn all options

Over all not bad for the price and my usage.

Strengths: Light in weight and easy to use.

Weakness: Picture quality is weak but can be improve with the proper settings via the camera's menu.

Intially, I was not happy with the picture quality. However, when I bought a different SD Card, it improved considerably. Also, I like the fact the you can use rechargeable or Lithium AA batteries which are less expensive than other camera rechargeable battery packs.

Grainy Display

Strengths: Small.

Weakness: Grainy display screen, Pics out of focus. Hard to comprehend manual.

The Nikon is not worth the bother. Will be returning camera tomorrow. Just because a camera is priced under $100 doesn't mean it should be cheap and hard to use. The pictures should at least be in focus when you point and shoot. My 1960s instamatic camera was way better than this.
