Canon 7.1 Megapixel Camera For a Great Price!Strengths: The price is incredible for everything this camera will do. I like the fact that you can still find a good camera with a viewfinder also. Canon always goes the extra mile to make a good product. Weakness: Not a small camera and it's made of plastic....but it does keep the camera lightweight. A bit large for a pocket. 3-1/4" length. 1-2/3" at the widest point. 1-1/2" height. I love that this camera runs off 2 AA batteries, and if you need them, they're easy to find anyplace. I did buy a battery charger at the same time I bought this camera, and never need to buy batteries anymore. I love the big 2.5 LCD screen and wanted a camera that was quick and easy to operate and this is the camera that fits that bill. I love the wheel on top of the camera which makes it quick...

A great little camera at a great priceStrengths: Uses AA batteries, great picture quality, good flash, face recognition really does the trick, unrestricted video recording, big lcd, easy to use, red-eye reduction tool that works, Digic III rocks! Weakness: Flash recharge, noise at higher ISOs This is a great little camera. I've owed A-series Canons since the A40 days. I now also own an A640. This camera was for the mother-in-law. I needed something easy to use that had great picture quality. I'm always tempted by the low-light capabilities of the Fuji. But the Fuji using non-standard memory, slowness, proprietary battery, and poor normal light performance made it pretty easy to...

Great price and features - Canon A560Strengths: Big 2.5” LCD to view, High ISO,Digic 3 processor to identify .,Great AF feature and light weigh with both AA batteries and SD memory card. Weakness: Awkward design of Wrist Strap. Slow flash recharge and low battery life. Hard to press button with average finger - FUNC SET and Play button. I purchased this camera to replace my previous Nikon L10. This camera was easy to use even without manual. A560 uses new tecnology-Digic 3 processes which detect faces with high ISO. Also, it uses normal AA battery size so, easy to change the battery when it is low. That replaces the weakness of A560. The standard 7.1 Mega Pixels and easy view 2.5” LCD screen get you convenience using this...

Nice budget cameraStrengths: Digic 3 processor can identify faces and includes built-in red-eye removal tool Weakness: A little slow to autofocus - sometimes frustrating attempts to get the immediate moment with restless toddlers This is a great budget camera - clear photos that are good enough to make poster prints. The digic 3 processor includes features only available on some of the highest end Canon cameras (see Strengths). Runs off 2 AA batteries so you can get cheap NiMH reusable batteries or grab some at a convenience store if needed. It is pretty small, but a little cumbersome to place in a pants pocket. It has a...

Nice Beginner CameraStrengths: Great Value, Light weight than I thought, Great Design Weakness: Should come with more memory than 16 MB! This is one of the best cameras I have seen. It has a big LCD screen. It has 4x optical zoom rather than 3x it mentions on the description. That zoom is lot better than 3x some of the similar models the competitors offer. I was glad to see it only requires 2 AA batteries so it was lot lighter than what I had envisioned. I love the big handgrip because of my big hands. Though it is small enough to...

For once canon camera not upto expectation ...Strengths: The shape and feel is same as most of the A series cameras. Surprisingly it felt lightweight with batteries & SD card. The colors come out good as canon pics always do. Weakness: Read below for details: - time to process pic is high - slow flash recharge - low battery life I got this a couple of days back and have clicked a few snaps both indoor & outdoors ... close up, normal and max zoom. Some of the pics under the sun came out overexposed (auto mode) which came as a surprise to me. The greatest dissappointment is the time it takes after a snap is taken to process the pic and store it. Mind you, I use a standard Sandisk 1GB SD Card and it operates much faster on...

Above AverageStrengths: Battery Life, ease of use, good quality images. Weakness: Large case, slow zoom operation, long flash recharge time, no image stabilization. I actually bought this camera after I had recently purchased the Canon SD1000. While the SD is a great size and convenient to use, it takes crappy pictures. So I went back to the bigger sized A560 which has a bigger lens and larger zoom. Everything else is technically the same as far as the guts of the camera go. I've seen an immediate difference in crispness of shots, mainly due to the larger...

Good BuyStrengths: Small and powerful camera, big size LCD plus view finder. Weakness: None Very happy with this purchase. I bought this Canon PowerShot A560 for my son who is going on a 4 weeks trip to Europe. His old Kodak camera doesn't have movie capabilities and it has less megapixels.

Right choice of A Good PhotographerStrengths: Light weight, Big viewfinder, 7.1MP res. for a small price, Different Modes nice color, Easy to hold, East to use Zooming lever, Preview pictures w/o pressing on/off. Weakness: Too much time to recharge A nice to camera everyone should think to use/gift. I got this as a gift from my brother Sekar in California. The hp camera(4.1 Mp) which he had gifted me some time back was not up to my expectation as I was unable to get more details of certain places/persons/occasions. This Powershot A 560 fulfils everything. I would sugget anyone to use it all the time.

Canon PowerShot A560
THE GOOD: Responsive performance; slightly above-average lens. THE BAD: Images plagued with artifacts and fringing; extremely noisy at high ISO settings. THE BOTTOM LINE: This cameras solid performance can help you forget that it doesnt have many bells or whistles. Top

Canon PowerShot A560
The Canon A560 is another great little camera from Canon. While classed and priced as an entry-level camera, the A560 takes great, high-resolution shots, has a nice 4x zoom lens, and is quite easy to use. The user interface is clean and uncluttered, the combination of no-nonsense mode dial and simple Function menu making it easy to get to the functions you'll use most frequently. There's also a... I'm very happy.
Strengths: This camera has everything that was good about the earlier models, but is now even better.
Weakness: It's a bit bulky in size, but I knew that one I bought it. It's just like the older models in that respect.
Now that the PowerShot takes only two batteries instead of four, it's a LOT LIGHTER. I like the fact that it takes AA batteries because rechargable AA batteries are easy to come by and last a long, long time.
