A decent entry-level camera

Strengths: Not overloaded with controls

Weakness: Weak flash Uses AAA batteries

I bought mine at a Black Friday 2005 sale for half off. The usual price at the time of this writing is $70 - $90. IMHO, don't buy this camera at that price - look for a closeout on a Fuji, Kodak or HP instead. However, at $40, it is quite a nice little camera. Polaroid 3070

Strengths: LCD on the back for under $40

Weakness: None for my purpose

--I purchased this for my tech gadget lover son (5 years old) He has wanted his own digital camera since 3 and of course it had to have an LCD screen. --This camera is perfect. This was on sale for under $40 and I couldn't pass it up. --Pictures are OK...

Not worth it

Strengths: small size

Weakness: only saves 10 pictures, if you add an SD card, not trivial how to use it. Doesn't come with manual. Need to download.

When you buy, consider you will need to buy extra memory to save more photos. The menu is too simple, doesn't tell you how to switch from internal memory (10 photos) to external (optional) SD card. SD card can cost you from $25 to $100 depending on the number of photos you want to save before uploading to your computer. You need to download the Manual ( >5MB) at www.polaroid-digital.c...
