Polaroid 3070Strengths: LCD on the back for under $40 Weakness: None for my purpose --I purchased this for my tech gadget lover son (5 years old) He has wanted his own digital camera since 3 and of course it had to have an LCD screen. --This camera is perfect. LCD screen/flash/rechargeable batteries/connects to computer/memory card and fairly rugged. --NO optical zoom, but for my purpose not required. This was on sale for under $40 and I couldn't pass it up. --Pictures are OK...

Not worth itStrengths: small size Weakness: only saves 10 pictures, if you add an SD card, not trivial how to use it. Doesn't come with manual. Need to download. When you buy, consider you will need to buy extra memory to save more photos. The menu is too simple, doesn't tell you how to switch from internal memory (10 photos) to external (optional) SD card. SD card can cost you from $25 to $100 depending on the number of photos you want to save before uploading to your computer. You need to download the Manual ( >5MB) at www.polaroid-digital.c... The controls are largely intuitive, and there aren't a lot of them to learn. There are a total of 5 buttons, including shutter release....
