Really good slicer for the price.

Strengths: Sturdy, pretty quiet, nice thin slicing capability.

Weakness: The sucker cups on the bottom of the unit allow for some movement an a glass or slick surface when pushing the product against the blade.

This is a quality product, does a really great job slicing ham and other dense meats and cheeses. Almost all stainless steel, heavy duty feel all around. Good product from a reliable company.

Miniture pro unit

Strengths: Lower cost, standard industrial configuration, blade removes easily

Weakness: Motor slows down, not a full size blade.

Any complaint is being picky. It's a good home unit, made by the guys who make the professional units. It is smaller in size and power, but is also around $150 rather than $700
