While I like shopping at Red Envelope, I think that charging $9.99 for a single gemstone that weights less than 1 oz is ridiculous. It would cost them the price of a stamp. Overall Rating

After hours of online shopping with Billmelater for a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. I came across Red Envelope and remembered she had once ordered me a really cool custom leather Men's jewelry box. As with being LAST minute to order for arrival on Valentine's Day, I came across a really nice charm bracelet that was heavily discounted, then they added 15% off on top of that! Rush Shipping was $15 extra which was expected but the discounts alone took care of that! Then I found some other coupon codes for 20% off + a FREE Gift Box! SCORE! This is definitely my new goto place for the wife!! Overall Rating

I was disappointed that I did not receive the free shipping that was advertised on the websites homepage. I used a 15% off coupon code and though the total of my purchase was still well over the $45 mark with using the code, I did not receive the free shipping. I feel that is should still be honored as it would be good customer service practice. Overall Rating

I did not ask for "Rush Delivery." That $14.99 charge is a scam. The 20% discount of $14.00, really is not a 20% discount because the $14.99 charge was added without my consent! The so called "free Shipping" is also a scam. You have to register your credit card in order to get the dsicount. I already have credit card protection, I don't need additional protection. This is the last order I will ever order from this company. I was charged $26.00 for shipping. The $14.99 should have been deducted, not added!! You take your customers for a fool!!!! I will notify my credit card company!! Overall Rating

I had to work really hard (input info four times) to get my 'free shipping'. There is freeshipping.com which has a 30-day free trial which was offered and I almost cancelled my order BUT my husband is going to really love his gifts so I tried again. I was very disappointed that in order to receive free shipping on Cyber Monday, that I had to go through a rebate site. I cannot stand giving out my information to random sites with which merchants are associated. I paid for the shipping rather than signing up for more junk email. I will NOT be recommending Red Envelope to friends and family. I'm so disappointed because I have always loved this site and appreciated how customer focused I thought you were. I would like to be able to sort items by price. It's a feature I've become used to on other sites. Also, I am sure I've received emails recently with discount codes. It's my fault that I deleted them and could not take advantage. That said, it would be really nice if, for returning customers like me, you recognized I was still eligible for that discount and automatically honored it. You are and will most likely always be on my list of "go-to" stores for online gift-giving, and that feature will put you at the top of the list every time. Overall Rating

It took me about an hour to check out because of having to change delivery dates. When this came up at the of the order it took so long that I lost 2 other items because they ended up selling out. The shipment date options should come up to be selected before the final check out. Overall Rating

Your shipping charge is too high. I ordered 1 single baby plush blanket and scheduled more than 1 month in advance for delivery date, but it cost me more than shipping 6 lbs of clothes through USPS. You should offer less expensive shipping options!!! Overall Rating

I placed an order for two items and included the gift option on both. I'm not sure if it's because it was the same item or what but, when prompted to fill out the message I wanted on my gift card, I was only given one card to fill out. The second item (with gift option chosen/paid for also) did not display and there was no way to complete my second card. I'm hoping that they will read my note to them I included in my PayPal notes to fill the second card out as I specified, at best, I'm hoping they will pay attention to my note, if not at least include a blank card which takes a little bit away from the presentation of my gift.
