Does what it should do

Strengths: Lightweight, easily mounted.

Weakness: None so far

I bought this teleconverter to increase the zoom capability of my AF Zoom-NIKKOR 80-200mm f/2.8D ED to be able to capture photos of wildlife. I initially purchased Nikon 1.7x teleconverter, but although it was supposed to work with the aforementioned lens (according to the then available product info), unfortunately it was not the case. Anyhow, Tamron's teleconverter works fabulously and would recommend it highly.
