Sony TCM-210DV

Strengths: Size, ease of use, using standard cassettes, ability to record at double the recording time

Weakness: Needs better microphone/better sound pick-up

After searching for a small cassette recorder to record minutes of Home Owner's Association meeting I determined that the Sony TCM-210DV (same as TCM-200DV with the power adaptor included) was the best for the price. It has features not found in other models checked. The ability to record voice at half speed is one of it's better features. It's ability to speed up or slow down for transcription is also a plus. The only drawback I find is that the microphone is not as sensitive as I would like.
