Straightforward, elegant, compact case

Strengths: Durable design; stylish, simple, and slim; large velcro closure; folds flat when not in use; camera strap hole at the top

Weakness: Doesn't provide the level of protection that zippered bags do because of gaps on the sides of the closure; metal logo on the outside is kind of unnecessary; no space for spare battery or memory card

This well-designed genuine leather case complements this nice line of Canon cameras. I have used the predecessor of this case for my PowerShot S410 for two years, and the Velcro never wore out. It endured a lot of abuse. (I would still be using it if I hadn't misplaced the little thing!) The belt loop is very convenient and puts the camera within easy reach. The PowerShot SD-series is a bit slimmer than the S-series, so there may be a little room (such as for a memory card) if you have an SD-series. With the S-series, though, there is no space for anything other than the camera in the case. In fact, the case is so snug that it can turn dials on the camera when you put it in and take it out if you're not careful.

A good camera case

The camera fits in the case nicely. The Velcro closure made it easy to open and can be closed very securely. The case can be put on a belt easily. The material and workmanship are much better than what you'd normally get for this price.

Nice little case

Strengths: Fits the camera very nicely. Does not scratch the camera.

Weakness: None

This is a great little case. It protects the camera on the outside and inside. I had looked at the a few others, but saw reviews that they scratch the camera. I use it every time I travel.
