I have had my Razr for 9 months and am starting to notice that the battery does not hold a charge for as long as it did when I first bought it. The good news is that an original Motorola replacement battery can be purchased from a Pricegrabber Storefronts merchant for under $10 delivered.

Motorola v3 Battery

Strengths: Works just fine. Performance is like OEM battery

Weakness: None

This battery holds charge pretty well. No noticeable problem. Seller shipped within a week, and would definitely recommend. Although i only used for a few days, so far the charge is very strong, didn't notice any rapid degradation

Strengths: Works just like the original battery.

Weakness: Due to the size of the battery, it's not intended for heavy use.

Battery was made in China with the OEM specs of Motorola. Did not notice any differences in quality and performance. Charged and discharge just like the original battery from Japan. Excellent price for a backup battery.

Weakness: razor takes up too much power

Works good, it's made by Motorola so you can't go wrong, it's just that the razr sucks way to much juice. This of course is not the battery's fault.

Motorola BR50 Battery

Strengths: Product was exactly the same as original in phone

Weakness: None

Product is an exact replacement for the battery that was originally shipped with the Motorola RAZR phone. The battery charges quickly to full strength. It holds a charge for a number of days on standby, and even when it starts to lose power, it does not do so quickly, so you have plenty of time to still use your phone, and then charge it at a convenient time.

Battery is made by Motorola for a Motorola cell phone and works perfectly. These are cheaper than venturing into Best Buy or any other electronics stores and spending 8 to 9 times the price plus tax.

Strengths: Cheap

Weakness: Do not hold charge

These battery are China make. Purchase two , throw one away;
fully charged and last for less than 24 hrs, other one last 48 hrs after charged. Do not reccommend.

Strengths: This is the standard razr battery, although it's only 710 mAh

Weakness: As with all the Razr batteries it hardly lasts a day.

I will be dumping my razr in the summer to see if I can get a phone that has a battery that lasts more than 12 hours. I love the size of the razr but the battery problems drive me crazy.

Weakness: None, to date.

Used to replace original battery for Razr V3 phone. Seems to hold charge for period comparable to that of the original when it was new. Very pleased with it's performance so far. Excellent price.

good replacement battery for the razr

Strengths: the new battery works far better than the one it replaced.

Weakness: there really are not that many - however, i don't remember how long the original battery used to last.

This battery, as a replacement for the original battery for the Razr cellphone, works rather well. With extensive usage (as in speakerphone [30 mins/day], text messaging [10 per day], camera, and regular talking [1 hr/day), it lasts for approximately 3 full days. I don't remember how long the original lasted initially. But, in my opinion, this battery is a fairly good replacement, especially considering its cost.

OEM Replacement Battery (BR50) for RAZR V3m

Strengths: Works not only with V3m - I have the first RAZR V3 (no letter). Lasts ~48 hours after full charge with medium usage of voice over bluetooth headset. Used about 1-2 hours per day.

-It works not as advertised and has a lower than advertised life (see "strengths"). The battery is the same as the original battery except with Asia letters instead of English ones.

I think the battery works fine but there are issues with the Motorola Razr phone that drains a battery quickly. This is my 6th battery since buying the phone. I use vibrate mode but the batteries should still not die this quickly.

Weakness: worked only intermittently, shorts out

I was deceived by the photo of the Motorola battery which accompanied this listing. The actual battery which was sent was slightly too compact and made only intermittent contact with the phone. Useless and worthless. I see the same photo illustrating this review -- be sure that you recognize the diggerence between "OEM" and the actual Motorola battery, which is not what you get pursuant o this listing!!!

Motorola Battery Rocks

Strengths: Original Motorola battery

Weakness: My last Motorola battery arrived at "half life" after only 1 year.

I would not use anything that isn't motorola branded on a motorola phone - don't want my face blown up. My only gripe is charging the battery fully and drained 3 times, it is not easy to do that with a busy schedule, and needing the phone.

Replacement Lithium-ion Battery for Motorola V3c Razr

Strengths: Came quickly and well packaged. Great value.

Weakness: Foreign market battery. Haven't owned it long enough to determine battery life.

Everything worked well. Very quick shipment and battery seems to work well so far. Battery life and functionality always seems to be an issue with the Razr phone so not necessarily the any fault of accessory.

This battery replaces my original battery, which started to require more frequent charges. The new battery is lasting much longer -- more like I remember with the original. Buying through a Pricegrabber storefront was a cheap alternative to the other options I had found, and I would devinitely buy this again through this venue.

Battery life

Strengths: Life of battery is good as long as you drain it completely then charge completely -all the time.

Weakness: Product must be handled with utmost care, such as not getting it wet in any way. After drying out the battery life is cut in half.

The Motorola Li-Ion Battery for Motorola V3 RAZR was purchased as a replacement for my first battery, which is four months old. Needless to say I got this wet, and paid the price. If you play sports keep your cell phone away from drinks and the lake. Carry in a plastic bag to insure your cell phone is safe. With utmost care you can expect to go 18 hours before recharging or after 6 hours of talk time.
