Olympus Stylus 820 (Blue)
THE GOOD: Sleek metal body; Perfect Shot Preview is a surprisingly useful feature. THE BAD: Painfully slow shot-to-shot time; overly soft pictures, especially at higher ISO settings. THE BOTTOM LINE: It looks good and its features are nice, but the Olympus Stylus 820s photos and performance simply arent up to snuff. Top

Olympus Stylus 820 Review
With a unique wedge shape and weatherproofing, the 8-megapixel Olympus Stylus 820 is a good no-nonsense digital camera for basic snapshooting in most any weather. Its 5x zoom gives the Olympus 820 a little more reach than most pocket digital cameras, and its 2.7-inch LCD is bright and sharp, and works well in direct sunlight. Sporting a gaggle of scene modes, the Olympus 820 will also help you... Top

The color is pretty....
Strengths: Battery is easy to charge lasts longer than a couple of AA's. Solid metal housing, very compact with a Large LCD.
Weakness: Yellow tint to photos, auto focus is constantly in motion.
I had a Sony DSC-90S and I thought I'd move up in features and pixels. Well, my Sony was only a 4 megapixel but it still took a better picture. I never had to edit my photo's with my Sony, with this one I have to edit most of them. It does take a good picture outside in the dark, requires very little lighting. I find the auto focus, which is in constant motion annoying, and I've never seen a clear photo before I press the shutter release button, it's always blurry, the end result however is usually clear. I guess I'm partial to Sony because all of my camera's have been a Sony, but they have also never failed me, this one is trying my patience!
That being said, I owned a Olympus OM-10 for many years and it was an exceptional camera, maybe Olympus should stick to manual cameras...
