Canon CLI-8Y and CLI-8x cartridges in general

Strengths: Genuine Canon Ink. Performs flawlessly, yields great prints. Reasonably priced considering the amount of ink in the cartridge.

Weakness: none.

Canon printers that use the 8 series of cartridges deliver great looking prints at a substantially lesser cost than printers that use tricolor cartridges. Be wary of printers that use tricolor cartridges, such as some HP and some Canon, the cartridges are usually expensive and when one color runs out the entire cartridge must be discarded. Greater waste = Greater cost.
