A Camcoder-mate Microphone

Strengths: Natural sound, Easy install

Weakness: Frequency response is a little too narrow

This is a easy install camcorder microphone, no need plug in the 3MM RCA connector, no need battery. these are benefits of the Sony's Active Interface Shoe function. It is designed for a mate of the camcorder which equipped with the Active Interface Shoe system, include a very nice looking Wind Screen!
Compare with the built-in microphone on camcorder, this gear pick up sound more natural, more clarity and more image focus. But, it is not enough on frequency response for recording large scale orchestra performing.
